Finnomena & Google Cloud launch AI investment solution
Finnomena, a digital wealth management platform in Thailand, and Google Cloud have deployed a new AI-powered capital markets information management solution designed to enhance Finnomena's investment offerings.
This development comes as Finnomena seeks to improve communication of material information from its partner asset management firms, which is crucial for investor decision-making and can significantly impact investment outcomes. Traditionally, disseminating such information has been a laborious and lengthy process.
The newly introduced AI solution leverages Google Cloud's Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud Run, ensuring seamless integration with Google Workspace. It employs an agentic AI workflow to process and summarise important information from hundreds of partner emails in real-time, which are then distributed to Finnomena's internal teams via Gmail and Google Chat. This automation aims to increase the efficiency and speed of updating investors with critical financial market information.

The AI solution's robustness is attributed to Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash model, aligning its outputs with Finnomena's industry-specific internal data and third-party data from Morningstar. This comprehensive data utilisation ensures high accuracy and reliability, identified as correct and essential in all partner-sent emails since implementation, with the AI achieving a 90% accuracy rate in detail extraction and summarisation in both Thai and English languages.
Supattra Siripongmongkol, Chief Operating Officer, Finnomena Funds, highlighted, "In the past, our staff had to manually sift through more than 500 daily emails from 21 partners. The AI solution also facilitates compliance and archival needs by automatically storing both its outputs and final investor communications versions in BigQuery. This helps Finnomena to monitor compliance and evaluate the accuracy of the solution over time, while also training the AI for further improvements. This data archiving allows Finnomena to conduct deep analyses on fund performance, market volatility, and emerging investment themes, thereby enhancing content and product development.
