FreakOut advances ad tech with Neurons AI partnership

FreakOut has announced a partnership with Neurons, an AI-driven consumer insights provider, aimed at enhancing digital advertising effectiveness across Asia by integrating predictive AI into its ad tech solutions.

The collaboration introduces an AI-powered component to FreakOut's existing ad tech services that will allow brands to predict, test, and optimise their advertising creatives before launch. This development marks FreakOut as the first ad tech company in Asia to incorporate Neurons' AI technology, which offers over 95% accuracy in predicting consumer attention patterns.

According to Koma Okubo, CEO of FreakOut SEA, the integration of AI insights with local market expertise is key to capturing consumer attention amidst the crowded digital marketplace. "In today's crowded digital space, capturing attention requires both science and local insight," said Okubo. "While AI provides powerful predictions about consumer attention, our local teams across Asia transform these insights into culturally relevant, high-impact creative executions."

The predictive AI technology utilised by FreakOut analyses visual elements such as logos, call-to-actions, and product images. Drawn from behavioural research data, including eye tracking and fast-response test data, the AI delivers predictions about the potential impact of advertising campaigns. This represents a shift from depending solely on intuition to using data-driven, actionable insights for creative optimisation.
