Rob Newell named Senior Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific
Rob Newell has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan at New Relic.
Newell steps into the role after serving as Group Vice President of Solutions Consulting and Technical Sales APJ at New Relic. He is recognised in the technology sector for his experience in the observability space and for a career encompassing more than twenty years in technical software sales and leadership across the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining New Relic, Newell was Vice President of Solutions Engineering and Cloud Sales, ASEAN at Salesforce, and has held senior roles at IntraLinks and ConnXion Limited.
Newell's new remit will see him leading New Relic's sales and go-to-market activities in a region identified as significant for its growth potential. This appointment forms part of a broader expansion in New Relic's Asia-Pacific leadership, including recent hires such as Denis Maguire as Senior Director of Enterprise Sales for Australia and New Zealand, and Manivannan Govindan as Senior Director of Enterprise Sales Asia.
