Kore.ai, Microsoft link up to advance enterprise AI

Today

Kore.ai and Microsoft have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance enterprise AI automation by deeper integrating Kore.ai's agent platform and business solutions within Microsoft's cloud and AI ecosystem.

The collaboration will integrate Kore.ai's virtual agents natively across Microsoft Copilot, Teams, and Azure OpenAI, aiming to simplify and accelerate the deployment of AI-powered services within enterprise environments. Through this partnership, organisations using Microsoft's infrastructure will gain access to Kore.ai's agent platform and pre-built business solutions, facilitating the adoption of AI-driven automation and workflows.

The partnership extends Kore.ai's capabilities through Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot Studio, enabling what both companies describe as a "Better Together" strategy. By leveraging these integrations, enterprises can deploy AI agents directly within their existing Microsoft environments, supporting a unified approach to AI-driven collaboration, productivity, and automation.

According to the companies, Kore.ai's "AI for Work" platform will combine with Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat as a front-end, providing support for contextual understanding, enterprise search, and domain-specific HR, IT, and recruiting agents. This platform also supports custom citizen development, allowing personalised employee experiences and enterprise search within the Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams interface.

The interoperability between agents built on the Kore.ai Agent Platform and those on Microsoft Copilot Studio will allow for seamless access to virtual agents via Copilot Chat or Teams, enhancing the creation of an integrated agent ecosystem across organisations.

Leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Kore.ai's agent platform supports no-code and pro-code development environments, enabling enterprises to create, deploy, and customise AI agents efficiently. The companies highlight that this flexibility in development tools is expected to speed up the rollout of AI-powered solutions for various business needs.

For customer service, Kore.ai's "AI for Service" integrates with Microsoft's Dynamics 365 CRM and contact centre tools, supporting automation of both digital and voice channels to increase containment rates. The solution can be hosted on Microsoft Azure, aligning with scalability, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements.

Kore.ai also brings its agentic capabilities to Microsoft Power Automate, allowing enterprises to transition from basic task automation to more sophisticated, decision-aware process orchestration by leveraging AI for Process integration.

"Our strategic partnership with Microsoft marks a significant milestone in Kore.ai's mission to make enterprise AI accessible, scalable, and impactful, helping enterprises reimagine their business operations with AI. By integrating deeply with Microsoft technologies, we're empowering customers to unify AI-driven collaboration, automation, and service delivery into one intelligent enterprise layer, delivered securely and at scale—ultimately accelerating their journey from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide transformation," Raj Koneru, Founder and CEO at Kore.ai, commented.

Kore.ai's solutions are available on the Azure Marketplace to streamline procurement and deployment for enterprise customers. Under the new agreement, Kore.ai will continue to advance its technology and reach through Microsoft's Azure Co-sell programme.

"Our strategic partnership with Kore.ai marks a significant milestone in our mission to accelerate enterprise AI transformation. By integrating Kore.ai's advanced conversational and GenAI capabilities with Microsoft's robust cloud and AI services, we are enabling enterprises to adopt AI at scale and with enterprise-grade security. This collaboration will empower businesses to streamline their operations, enhance productivity, and drive innovation across key sectors," Puneet Chandok, President, Microsoft India and South Asia, said.

Both companies emphasise that this partnership is rooted in a shared vision to provide enterprises with flexible and interoperable AI solutions that improve productivity and transform organisational workflows and operations.
