Enero posts steady FY25 EBITDA growth as agency teams win awards
Enero Group has reported financial results for the twelve months ending 30 June 2025, reflecting stable performance and EBITDA growth across its agency operations.
The group recorded a 2% year-on-year increase in EBITDA on a continuing operations basis in FY25. Its Technology, Healthcare and Consumer (THC) Practise, which includes all agency businesses, was pivotal to this performance. The THC Practise posted EBITDA growth of 0.2% and showed a significant improvement in margins compared to the previous year.
The second half of FY25 contributed notably to these results, with EBITDA up 9% and net revenue increasing 2% over the preceding half. Enero's management described the second half as a period of solid momentum.
Our second half results show the strength of Enero's portfolio and our ability to adapt to shifting market dynamics. From landmark client wins to world-class recognition, our agencies have proven they can deliver both growth and industry-leading work. This momentum sets us up for good progress in FY26.
Within its portfolio, Hotwire Global - a consultancy focused on technology and communications - faced continued challenges within the technology sector. Hotwire rebranded its global performance marketing services under the name ROI·DNA during the second half of FY25. This move has reportedly improved its presence in the market, resulting in recognition as a Google Premier Partner and the acquisition of its first multi-regional client for the new financial year.
Hotwire also launched its Global AI Lab, which is designed to further its role in digital technology solutions. The agency received several accolades, including a place in PRNEWS' Agency Elite Top 120 and a gold award for Excellence in B2B Marketing at the Marketing Excellence Awards.
BMF, a creative agency within the group, began the second half of the financial year with what has been described as its largest ever client win, securing Westpac in February. This contributed to what the agency considered an exceptional year, earning four trophies at the Mumbrella Awards: Creative Agency of the Year, Award for Culture, Ad Campaign of the Year, and Account Management Team of the Year. BMF was also recognised as Spikes Asia Strategy & Effectiveness Agency of the Year and Effective Agency of the Year at the Effies. The agency's momentum has continued into the first weeks of FY26, winning HCF's creative account.
Meanwhile, digital agency Orchard saw significant growth towards the end of the financial year, doubling its EBITDA and achieving a 19% increase in revenue in the second half of FY25 compared to the prior half. Revenue growth was recorded in both healthcare and consumer divisions; factors contributing included new pharmaceutical launches and increased demand for CGI and related offerings on the consumer side.
Orchard received further industry attention as Customer Choice Partner of the Year (ANZ) at the Optimizely Awards and was the most awarded agency at the Prime Healthcare Awards, securing Marketing Campaign of the Year. The agency also bolstered its client list with business wins from brands such as Abbvie, Detmold Group, and Boehringer Ingelheim.
Enero completed the sale of OBMedia in FY25. This move, according to the group's leadership, is intended to place clear strategic focus on the agency portfolio.
As we enter FY26 with a more defined portfolio and an exclusive focus on our award-winning agencies – BMF, Hotwire, ROI·DNA and Orchard – our focus is firmly on building the next chapter of growth for Enero. Each agency has strong leadership, vision, capabilities and a track record of delivering outstanding results for clients. That focus on differentiation and innovation provides a solid foundation to create long-term value for clients, attract top talent and deliver strong returns for shareholders.
