Dentsu Indonesia appoints Anwesh Bose as new Chief Growth Officer
Dentsu Indonesia has formally announced the immediate appointment of Anwesh Bose as its Chief Growth Officer. Mr Bose will be in charge of driving growth strategies and promoting cross-functional cooperation to explore market opportunities — essential to propelling both Dentsu Indonesia and its clients towards further growth.
Reporting directly to Elvira Jakub, CEO of Dentsu Indonesia, Mr Bose is predicted to play a central role in galvanising Dentsu Indonesia's growth via transformation and service line integration. Ms Jakub stated, "We have made steady progress thus far, and by strategically appointing a senior leader with extensive experience like Anwesh, we are charting our path forward to continue helping marketers unlock new opportunities and navigate the evolving marketing landscape."
An established advertising veteran, Mr Bose boasts a wealth of experience, having served as President Director at Havas Group Indonesia, Senior Vice President at DDB India, and Chief Growth Officer - Media at Dentsu Media India. His leadership has further been extended to ad-tech companies including Supermom Business and Whisper Media, and immediately before his reappointment at Dentsu, he was President Director at The Academy Consulting.
Reflecting on his return to Dentsu, Mr Bose says, "It is an honour for me to return to Dentsu, where we are committed to driving growth and innovation for marketers in Indonesia. I'm in awe of the talents and capabilities across Creative, Media, CXM that Dentsu has, as well as the impressive achievements that the Dentsu team have brought. I eagerly anticipate unlocking new possibilities with our expertise in data, commerce, content, and influencer marketing."
Concurrent with the rapid growth of the media landscape, Laode Hartanto has been handed a deeper role as Chief Growth Officer - Media, overseeing their media business, which has flourished despite the fast-paced evolution of the media landscape. This is further demonstrated by Dentsu Indonesia's recent accolade of #1 title on RECMA Quali-Ranking, marking their fifth consecutive year as the leading media agency groups in Indonesia. Remarkably, Dentsu was the only group that improved its score since the last report and retained its leading clients, both internationally and locally. Mr Hartanto will now report to Aloysia Dian, Media CEO of Dentsu Indonesia.
In the highly dynamic landscape, Dentsu continues to remain dedicated to enabling success among its clients and communities by offering stellar, industry-leading services that stimulate substantial progress and encourage sustainable growth.
