How do I report an error in a TechDay story?

Send the story URL, the specific text you believe is wrong, the corrected fact, and supporting evidence to corrections@techday.com or through the contact page.

Guidance

!

All corrections need to be sent to corrections@techday.com or they will not be considered. Sending to other email addresses delays consideration.

Include a story link so we know which story you are referring to.

!

Focus on what is wrong in the article, not simply sending us updated source material.

What changes will TechDay make after publication?

TechDay will consider factual corrections, image replacements where appropriate, and clarifications that improve reader accuracy.

Guidance

!

Our team will consider factual corrections only. For example mispellings of names or brands.

X

Published stories will not be rewritten for preference, search wording, or to suit your messaging.

X

Like any good Newspaper. We do not add links/backlinks to stories.

We absolutely welcome headshots or screenshots to update articles. Logos or other designs will be rejected.

Can a published story be removed?

Removal is exceptional and depends on legal, factual, safety, or serious editorial reasons.

Guidance

!

We do not remove stories after they've been published, unless TechDay has made the mistake.

X

Removal is not available because coverage is inconvenient, historic or no longer part of your messaging.

!

After a story is published, it is cached on Google Search, Google News, Perplexity, ChatGPT etc. Corrections to the story is the only way forward.
