Sefiani has been named the Best Midsize PR Agency of the Year at the 2025 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards.

The agency was recognised for its exceptional performance in areas such as agency ethos, body of work, business performance, and client testimonials. This accolade affirms the agency's commitment to its mission statement of being "Agents of Change".

Sefiani's award-winning initiatives include the integrated campaign "Not Tomorrow's Problem" with Generation Life, which emphasises the crucial role of Australian financial advisors. The agency was also acknowledged for a year-long earned media campaign with Volvo Group, advocating for road regulation changes to facilitate Australia's shift towards sustainable heavy vehicles.

The Volvo Group campaign also won the 2024 CPRA Golden Target award for Best Media Relations Campaign. Additionally, Managing Partner Mandy Galmes was honoured with the PR Leader of the Year award at the 2024 CPRA Awards and was a shortlisted candidate for the same award at the Mumbrella CommsCon Awards.

"Taking home the Agency of the Year award was an incredible way to celebrate a big year for our agency, but it also validates how our expertise and specialised offering in areas including Responsible Business, AI and Crisis Comms stand out and are meeting the needs of businesses today," stated Mandy Galmes, Managing Partner, Sefiani, Part of Clarity Global.

Julia Hoy, EVP, Responsible Business, Sefiani, remarked, "Winning Agency of the Year among many strong competitors is an affirmation that you're getting the formula right. Our focus on innovation, creativity, expertise, and culture has led to incredible achievements that we're all proud of, from the launch of new specialist global services led out of Australia, to Clarity's B Corp certification and the delivery of award-winning work. It's been a remarkable year, and this is a wonderful way to celebrate it."

The award comes at an exciting time for Sefiani, as it coincides with the company's 25th anniversary celebrations and the launch of the Clarity Global Crisis Council. This new service is headed by senior crisis and reputation specialists Robyn Sefiani and Nicholas Owens, providing expanded global crisis management support.

In addition to crisis management capabilities, the formation of Clarity Global's Responsible Business Unit under the leadership of Julia Hoy marks a significant development. This unit is designed to assist businesses in navigating the complexities of sustainability communications as part of the group's broader initiative, which includes B-Corp Certification achieved in 2024 by both Sefiani and Clarity Global.

Despite challenging economic conditions, Sefiani's business showed resilience and significant achievements in the past year. The firm established partnerships with notable clients in sectors such as banking, healthcare, and responsible business, expanded its digital content practice by 150%, and promoted seven team members.
