QuikBot strengthens leadership for global autonomous growth
QuikBot Technologies has announced the appointment of three senior executives to its global leadership team as the company progresses its strategy for expanding autonomous urban logistics.
The company has confirmed that Mr Chua Wee Liang will join as Board Chairman and President, along with Dr Timothy Low who has been named Executive Vice President and Board Director. Mr Alan Ng will continue in his dual capacity as Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
Accompanying these appointments, Mr Aaron Goh has been named Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and General Manager of QuikBot Technologies UAE.
According to a statement from the company, these changes are intended to reinforce QuikBot's corporate governance as it seeks to attract new capital through a Pre-Series A funding round. The company said the new executive team brings substantial experience in private equity, healthcare, and market development, which will support board-level oversight, increase investor confidence, and strengthen QuikBot's institutional preparedness for further expansion.
The company attributed its decision to enhance leadership to the ongoing process of commercialising its Autonomous Final-Mile Delivery Platform-as-a-Service for smart cities, as well as to support research and development and to facilitate broader global operations.
QuikBot Technologies stated its intention to engage with institutional investors, venture capital firms, and partners who share its focus on automation in urban logistics. The company described its mission as advancing smart city solutions through technological innovation.
The new appointments, according to QuikBot, are part of a broader corporate strategy to underpin growth in the autonomous logistics sector and to solidify its presence in markets including the Middle East and North Africa.
