LG & Harvey Norman open AI home zone in Singapore

LG Electronics Singapore and Harvey Norman have opened an LG AI Home experience zone at Harvey Norman's Millenia Walk flagship store in Singapore. The companies describe it as the first anchor LG AI Home Experience Zone.
The revamped retail space is designed as an in-store walkthrough of connected home products, with displays spanning the entrance, kitchen, laundry, living area and a children's zone. It also includes a miniature home diorama intended to show how LG's "Affectionate Intelligence" concept applies to daily routines.
The launch builds on a longstanding retail partnership between the electronics group and the home and technology retailer. It also aligns with Harvey Norman's focus on using flagship stores to present products in staged home settings rather than through conventional shelf displays.
Among the main installations is an entrance display built around six 55-inch curved OLED screens. Inside the store, appliances and screens are grouped into themed areas to show how connected devices might be used across different parts of a home.
The kitchen section includes the Fit & Max French Door Refrigerator with Zero Clearance and a range of built-in appliances, including a hood, induction hob and oven. The laundry area features the WashTower and the Styler steam closet.
Other sections focus on family- and pet-oriented products, including air treatment units, a moveable screen, a 97-inch OLED television, a soundbar and an air conditioner, along with a dedicated children's area.
Retailers and electronics brands have increasingly turned to immersive store formats as online shopping has changed how consumers compare products. Large appliances, home displays and connected devices are among the categories where suppliers still see value in physical demonstrations, particularly when products are marketed as part of a broader home system.
For LG, the space provides a fixed showroom within a high-profile retail outlet in Singapore, where customers can see several categories in one setting. For Harvey Norman, the format adds another branded destination within its flagship site and may help draw shoppers seeking guided demonstrations of smart home products.
One display highlighted by the companies is the miniature AI home model near the entrance. According to their description, it is meant to illustrate how software can respond to routines and preferences over the course of a day.
That theme runs through the wider installation, which presents interconnected appliances and entertainment devices as part of a single home environment. The concept reflects a broader push by consumer electronics groups to frame artificial intelligence less as a standalone feature and more as an organising layer across household devices.
Harvey Norman described the project as another step in its relationship with LG. "Our partnership with LG has grown from strength to strength over the years, and we are honoured to partner with them on world's first anchor LG AI Home Experience Zone, located within our flagship store," said Bernice Kwok, Managing Director, Harvey Norman Singapore and Malaysia.
LG said the aim was to show a practical use of AI in the home. "At LG, we believe AI should do more than connect devices. It should make everyday life easier, more convenient, and more enjoyable," said Fabian Lee Kunho, Managing Director, LG Electronics Singapore.
The opening at the Millenia Walk flagship store was marked by executives from both companies, including Kim Jaeseung, Regional Chief Executive Officer, LG Electronics Asia Pacific, along with Kwok and Lee.
