A new partnership between content management system vendor Storyblok and global digital asset management company Bynder is set to optimise content management accuracy. Aimed at helping marketing teams to streamline brand consistency across their sites, the collaboration will provide a seamless integration allowing for a quicker time to market and effortless distribution of assets directly from the digital asset management (DAM) platform into the content management system (CMS).
According to a worldwide survey commissioned by Storyblok involving 500 marketers, modern businesses are being overwhelmed by their digital assets. The increasing number of channels and assets that marketers are supporting leads to arduous asset management tasks and errors in content delivery. Of the surveyed professionals, 55% manage more than 1,000 digital assets in their asset manager, and nearly half (48%) have made mistakes resulting in content problems such as broken links and wrong file versions.
In an era of rapidly growing content demands, the survey found that 64% of businesses use artificial intelligence to help with the creation of digital content regularly, while just 11% never use it. Moreover, 41% of marketers reported connecting their asset manager to 5-10 other marketing platforms in an attempt to aid content output.
The fresh association with Bynder via an out-of-the-box integration solution aims to address many of the daily challenges marketers face to ensure brand consistency across multiple channels. It is expected that the pairing will simplify the complications of omnichannel asset management and content governance.
Brad Kofoed, SVP of Global Alliances at Bynder cited, "Increasingly, content is seen as a strategic business asset that enables organizations to deliver exceptional content experiences across complex omnichannel buyer journeys. Our partnership with Storyblok is a key integration that will aim to help teams with exactly that - providing content consistency, ease of distribution, and faster speed to market by making on-brand content directly available in the CMS."
Barry D'Arcy, VP of Partners at Storyblok, extolled the partnership, stating, "Assets serve as the fundamental building blocks for crafting digital experiences. Our collaboration with Bynder seamlessly integrates their top-tier enterprise digital asset management solution with Storyblok, enabling businesses to effortlessly leverage their entire asset library and restore order within the realm of content chaos."
Bynder integration will be available to enterprise customers of Storyblok. DAM is crucial for brands meeting content demand to place a DAM platform at the centre of a connected marketing and e-commerce ecosystem, enabling the seamless distribution of content across an integrated network of platforms. Such an approach carries potential advantages such as uniting storage locations, automatically scaling asset variations per channel, and granting an understanding of asset performance across the entire connected ecosystem.
