SmartBear appoints Kevin Foster as Senior VP of Growth Marketing

SmartBear has recently announced the appointment of Kevin Foster as the Senior Vice President of Growth Marketing. Kevin's inclusion brings a wealth of over 25 years of marketing experience from several high-growth technology firms to SmartBear. Notably, Kevin joins SmartBear from the startup highway.ai where he uniquely contributed to the marketing strategies.

SmartBear is making substantial strides in its global growth, both through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The company has propelled its resources to acquire 10 companies in a short span of just over five years. It has also successfully launched three major products in 2023, reinforcing its commitment to driving innovation in the tech industry.

Cynthia Gumbert, CMO at SmartBear, praised Kevin's addition to the team. Afore SmartBear, Kevin held influential positions at various tech corporations. His services at PTC for nearly six years, particularly leading the marketing for the company's IoT business, are remarkable. He held the position of the Senior Vice President, Product Marketing at Notarize (now Proof) and has marked competent roles at Progress, Novell (now Micro Focus), and Hewlett-Packard. Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering and policy and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
