Sean Cheyney appointed global head of retail media

Vistar Media has announced the appointment of Sean Cheyney as the Global Head of Retail Media, signifying the company's broadened focus on programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) within the retail sector.

The new role aligns with Vistar Media's strategy to connect digital retail media with real-world engagement points, targeting consumers in physical spaces. Sean Cheyney, who has over two decades of expertise in both digital and traditional media channels, is set to lead the company's 2025 strategy to become a key partner for retail media networks globally.

Cheyney's recent position as Executive Vice President of Global Retailer Sales at CitrusAd underscores his readiness for this role. His efforts were significant in the growth and subsequent transformation of CitrusAd into Epsilon Retail Media. Previously, he contributed to similar successes at Triad Retail Media, a forerunner in the retail media network sector.
