Piwik PRO expands analytics offer to support SMEs' data needs

Wed, 15th May 2024

Digital analytics and activation vendor Piwik PRO is expanding its offering of privacy-compliant marketing and eCommerce analytics to better meet the needs and budgets of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The move aims to assist SMEs in maximising the value they derive from their marketing and eCommerce data.

A study by the World Economic Forum highlights that privacy compliance and extracting value from data are among the principal challenges for SMEs looking to establish a data-driven culture. The primary reasons for this difficulty include insufficient resources and expertise, which result in underperformance in these areas.

The overwhelmingly positive reception of Piwik PRO’s free plan, Core, has spurred the company to extend its focus beyond its traditional enterprise customer base to smaller organisations. By leveraging Piwik PRO’s Analytics, Tag Manager, and Consent Manager modules, SMEs can perform meaningful and compliant analyses to optimise their digital operations and drive sales. This extension helps SMEs overcome common hurdles and positions them for data-driven success.

The new, granular pricing structure allows SMEs to adjust the product's tracking capabilities according to their specific needs and budget constraints. Additionally, they gain access to training and educational materials, as well as a community forum designed to help them make the most of their data.

Key features of the expanded offer include:

  • Three Piwik PRO modules: Analytics, Tag Manager, and Consent Manager
  • Free usage for up to 500,000 actions per month, with the option to purchase additional actions
  • Built-in and custom marketing and eCommerce reports generated within seconds
  • Built-in features for easier compliance with privacy laws
  • Self-education materials, certification, and community support

“The ability to deliver value to all businesses, regardless of industry and size, marks the beginning of a new exciting chapter for Piwik PRO,” said Piotr Korzeniowski, CEO of Piwik PRO. “We’re confident that our solution, which is now used by over 600 enterprise clients and more than 10,000 free plan users, will support many more organisations on their road to data-driven success.”

Both SMEs and enterprise clients can expect further enhancements to Piwik PRO's product capabilities. Real-time reporting features are scheduled for H2 2024, and Customer Data Platform functionalities will be available to Core users later this year.

Piwik PRO Analytics Suite is a privacy-first platform that offers an advanced collection of analytics-focused modules. Organisations such as the European Commission, Fitch Ratings, and DKMS, among others, trust it to optimise the customer journey safely while respecting visitors’ choices. The platform's free version, Core, is utilised by over 10,000 customers, providing a comprehensive solution for businesses of varying sizes and industries.
