Wed, 28th May 2025

Maadtech.AI has launched the beta stage of its Intelligent Autonomous Marketing Platform aimed at businesses in Thailand.

The company, previously known as Maadtech Programmatic Hong Kong, has developed this platform with Agentic AI technologies to function as a virtual marketing department capable of autonomously handling tasks including strategic planning, campaign execution, and content generation.

Wilson Chan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, described the scope and ambition of the initiative, stating, "We are not just automating tasks for efficiency or cost reduction. With our deep industry expertise and domain knowledge, we are reimagining the entire marketing function and work flow as an intelligent, autonomous operating system, and laying the foundation of Enterprise AI for companies to drive sustainable competitiveness. Our results as seen from the alpha stage prototyping have been extraordinary, with AI agents proactively delivering consultancy-grade strategy and marketing plans at remarkable speed, precision, and depth."

Chan indicated that the new platform aims to bring about more than a technical upgrade to marketing. "The ultimate goal of our project goes beyond reinventing the marketing and marketing services industries; we are looking forward to contribute building the Enterprise AI Industry, where it sits in the crossroad and bridges between sovereign AI and Individual AI developments'," he said.

The project is being led by professionals from marketing and data technology sectors across Asia and the United States. The leadership includes Wilson Chan, Tapat Yuvaboon – identified as a pioneer in sovereign AI in Thailand and project co-lead – and Royce Yuen, who serves as an adviser bringing expertise in marketing, branding, and advertising.

Chan outlined the origin of the platform, referencing Maadtech's previous work in programmatic marketing. "This AI Agent platform concept was originated from their previous research and development of Maadtech's Programmatic Marketing 2.0 model since 2019," he said. "We thought we have developed one of the most advanced data-driven marketing models already by deploying CDP/DMP and traditional ML technologies, but then there were limitations especially on strategy and marketing planning aspects, and fragmented silos such as Meta and Google's walled gardens, that made it unable to view the full marketing picture and data work flow intelligently."

Chan continued, "Our Eureka moments came when ChatGPT was launch in 2023 and Andrew Ng invented the 'Agentic AI' concepts that prompted us to rethink and rebuild at a much broader industry level and discovered our role to pioneer Enterprise AI solutions. We saw clearly we have entered into another era in technology evolution, as much as our humanity advancement."

Tapat Yuvaboon emphasised the specific approach of the system to Thailand's market, as well as its technological differentiation from broader AI models. "Our project can outperform the other foundation models because we are a country and industry specific vertical LLM model that offers we offer higher data security control, and our Agents are developed with much depth and relevancy from our curated training data and from expert interaction. We have chosen Thailand as our launch pad because we are on the ground, and the proactive government AI policies. Our business model will cultivate an ecosystem of industry, academia, and government collaboration to drive innovation with societal impact, and build a thriving marketing and advertising industry environment," he said.

Yuvaboon also highlighted how the objectives align with recent Thai government policies. "Our initiative also provides active support to the Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra's recent mandate and guidelines to transform Thailand using artificial intelligence, aiming for AI literacy for 10 million users and producing 90,000 AI professionals and 50,000 AI developers within two years."

Professor Royce Yuen stated that the core strengths of Maadtech.AI are rooted in the team's diverse experience and a hybrid development approach. "Our competitive edge is our leadership team's collective domain expertise and experience across diverse business categories in Thailand and internationally. Furthermore, our human-in-the-loop (HITL) training model will ensure the quality of AI Agent generated output while providing expert oversight in strategic decision-making."

According to Chan, Maadtech.AI has already engaged in pilot projects during the beta launch, and the company expects a public release of the platform in the third quarter of 2025. Plans are in place to expand into Hong Kong and Taiwan following the initial Thailand launch.
